Placitas

Offers more land, bigger homes, and continuity of the "Santa Fe" and "Territorial" architectural styles. Placitas is just East of Bernalillo and is a bit more distant from the City of Albuquerque. East Mountains

Tall pines, beautiful panoramic views, and green country side hills describe most of the mountain regions. The temperature is usually five to fifteen degrees cooler than in Albuquerque. Snow and rainfall are more abundant. Commute time to Albuquerque is typically 20-30 minutes.
